How does solenco Powerbox work?

Solenco Powerbox allows homes and small businesses to cheaply store their own generated energy, for hours or whole seasons. The system combines an electrolyser and a fuel cell in one unit which transform electricity into hydrogen, store it indefinitely and then convert hydrogen back into electricity and heat with minimal losses.

How big is a solenco Powerbox?

The ground surface of the Powerbox is the size of a pallet (80 * 120 cm) and is approximately 180 cm high. The storage tanks have a surface area of 1m2 per 600 kWh energy storage. The Solenco Powerbox is the missing link for mass uptake of wind and solar PV.

How can solenco energy box be used to heat a painter's Hall?

One of our successes includes the application of the 30kW Solenco Energy Box. The installation will be used for heating a painter’s hall by converting electrical renewable energy from solar panels or energy from smart grid, into green hydrogen which can be converted back into heat.
